Puffy AmiYumi:
It's time to be Nice. Puffy AmiYumi is a duo j-pop sensation. In 1995 a Sony talent contest was being held in Tokyo. Out of thousands of applications Ami and Yumi (found through different talent agencies) were chosen to become a new pop group. In 1996 their first single "Asia No Junshin" was a huge hit. It was their largest selling single and it lead to their Run-Puffy-Run!Tour. From then on Puffy AmiYumi was commissioned for high profile concerts, commercials, puffy related products, and even their own Japanese television show, Pa Pa Pa Puffy. They made their real break into international acclaim by singing 2 theme songs: The Teen Titans Theme and SD Gundam Force. They continued on by creating their own American hit television show, "The Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show." (Premiered on November 19, 2004)  Hi Hi appeals to a younger age group than their regular swag, but still cool all the same.
